about the designer
Louis Boria (aka Brooklyn Boy Knits) fell in love with knitting after waking up from a dream he had back in 2007. Throughout the years he taught myself how to knit through you tube videos (trying to learn as much as he could). Louis started knitting for family, friends and co workers and soon himself selling his custom pieces. In 2010 the Brooklyn Boy Knits website was created as a look book. It wasn’t until 2017 when he was spotted on a NYC subway knitting by none other singer/actress Frenchie Davis who snapped a photo of me while knitting. Because of Her posting that photo, Louis' knitting went viral and gained recognition for his work throughout the media.
