Iceland off the Beaten Path

Iceland off the Beaten Path

Our adventure starts at the tip-top of Iceland, with whale watching and a visit to spectacular volcanic lake, Myvatn. Next we travel around the east coast of the country. Authentic food, rugged landscape and coastal views will be ours. The trip southward then breaks for a mini-retreat inside Vatnajökull National Park. And once in the south, we'll visit Iceland's famous black beach at Vik and get to know the fiber community on the Woolen Circle. Might we catch a view of the Northern Lights? We'll certainly be on the lookout! Our trip concludes in Reykjavik. Easy to add on a day or two for exploring the city.
